On November 7, our orchestra program had the opportunity to take a field trip to Benaroya Hall to see the Seattle Symphony perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. From the moment we entered the concert hall, it was clear this would be a special experience. Being there to watch a world-class performance of such a famous piece was exciting!
One highlight of the concert was the soloist’s amazing performance. Tchaikovsky’s concerto is known for being both emotional and difficult, and seeing it live helped us appreciate it even more. The violin stood out over the orchestra, and the symphony added energy and depth to the music.

Overall, the trip was more than just a break from school, it was inspiring. Watching professional musicians at this level reminded us why we love music and encouraged us to keep improving in our own playing as we prepare for our Winter Concert. It was such a memorable experience that we’ll definitely remember for a long time.
