Seattle Symphony's Nathan Chan Visits Bellevue High School!

Our orchestra program had the opportunity to host celebrated cellist Nathan Chan at Bellevue High School. From the moment he began playing, it was clear this would be a special experience. Having a world-class musician perform right in our own rehearsal space made the visit especially exciting.

One highlight of his visit was hearing the pieces he chose to perform. The richness of his sound and the emotion in his playing filled the room, capturing everyone’s attention. He also shared parts of his musical journey, offering a glimpse into the life of a professional performer and the passion behind his artistry.

Overall, Nathan Chan’s visit was more than just a guest performance, it was inspiring. Watching a musician at this level reminded us why we love music and encouraged us to keep improving as we prepare for our upcoming concerts. It was a memorable experience that we’ll definitely remember for a long time.
