The BHS Orchestra Booster Club or the Boosters is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization under the umbrella of the Bellevue Wolverine Booster Club. Kerry Hill is the President for 2023-24. All Orchestra parents are automatically members of the Boosters.

Booster parents volunteer time and skills toward communicating with other parents, organizing fundraisers such as our annual Lei Sale, decorating for concerts, managing our website, chaperoning trips, and helping with onsite festivals.

We support each other, our students, and Mr. Kam, always mindful that music making is hard work, but fun!

We are thrilled to present this year’s Grand Finale Concert on June 4th in our beautiful Performing Arts Center. The concert officially starts at 7:00 pm, but we will have a pre-concert recital at 6:30 pm, featuring two senior chamber music groups performing popular tunes featured in motion pictures.

While the main theme of our Grand Finale Concert is to showcase the year’s work of all our students, we will be celebrating our graduating senior class. We have twenty seven seniors in orchestra this year. Several of them will be performing solos with their orchestras. Our orchestras will be performing works by living composers, as well as some very well-known Classical pieces (Bach Double Violin Concerto and Haydn Cello Concerto!).

Personally, one of my favorite aspects of the Grand Finale Concert is simply watching our students run the show – everything from emceeing the event, offering stage support, and of course performing their class music! Orchestra Boosters will be providing refreshments after the concert while families mingle and seniors take their final orchestra group pictures on stage.

I look forward to seeing you all at the concert, and I encourage you to invite friends, relatives, neighbors, and whoever would love to hear some beautiful performances by your amazing students.
