2016

WorldStrides Vancouver Music Festival (May 27-29, 2016) 
  • Chamber Orchestra – First Place with Gold Rating
  • Sinfonia – Second Place with Gold Rating
  • Sinfonia and Chamber Orchestra – Invitation to “Festival of Gold” – Groups with 90 or more points out of 100.
  • Chamber Orchestra - “Adjudicator Award” – Group with 92 points or more out of 100. Chamber Orchestra received an average of about 94.7 points. Only 8 were awarded out of 41 groups.
  • Chamber Orchestra - “Outstanding Orchestra Group” – Highest Orchestra Score for the event. (Average of 94.7 points)

Nine participants in the Washington Music Educators’ Association All-State (February 12-14, 2016) 
  • All-State Chamber Orchestra: 4 Violins and 1 Viola. 

  • All-State Symphony Orchestra: 1 Violin, 1 Viola, and 2 Cellos. 


2015

Auditioned and Accepted into the World Strides Festival at Carnegie Hall 

  • Performance on April 4, 2015 

 Eleven participants in the Washington Music Educators’ Association All-State/All-Northwest Groups (February 15, 2015) 

  • All Northwest - 1 Violin, 1 Cello 

  • All-State Orchestra - 6 Violins, 1 Viola, 2 Cellos

World Strides Heritage Orchestra Festival, Vancouver, B.C. (May 22-24, 2015) 

2014

State Solo and Ensemble Contest 

  • 2014 One student earns 1st place at region with two 1st alternates in small ensemble and violin. 

 Western Washington University High School Orchestra Festival (March 15, 2014) 

  • 1st Place Washington Cup Trophy for overall best orchestra performance 

  • Sinfonia received a Gold Performance Award and Trophy 

  • Concert Orchestra received a Gold Performance Award and Trophy 

 Eastshore Region Orchestra Festival (March 13, 2014) 

  • Received superior ratings for both Sinfonia and Concert Orchestras

2011

1st place Northwest Orchestra Festival, Mt. Hood Community College, Gresham, Oregon

Bellevue Chamber Orchestra won First Place in Division 5B at the NW Orchestra Festival in Gresham, Oregon on March 5, 2011.  They advanced to the finals on the strength of their Shostakovich performance, a challenging piece that is both dark and angry, then nailed their final performance to top a very good orchestra from Redmond High School.
